This is a Jasper-Agate heart-shaped cabochon with traces of blue chalcedony. The material is from a slice of Jasper collected from the mineral-rich area of the Mojave Desert, Ludlow in particular. It is roughly 50 mm at its widest point across the heart and 46 mm up and down from the cleft to the point at the bottom, and 8 mm thick. It weighs 140 carats, or 28 grams.
