Purple Morado Opal Cabochon

This is a cabochon cut from a piece of Opal from Morado, Mexico. From what we can tell, it IS Opal, though not what you would normally think of as Opal, but a "common" Opal. Beautiful material, hard to capture its gorgeous color in our photos - these are pretty close, but after MANY attempts! It is 35 x 16 mm at its wider points, and 5 mm thick, weighing around 17 carats.

Pale Lime Green Opalite Cabochon

This is an Opalite cabochon. We're not sure where this material came from, but it's pretty neat. It is 35 x 40 mm and 7 mm thick. It weighs 53 carats.
