Morocco Seam Agate Rough Piece - 1 3/4 lbs

This is a piece of Morocco Seam Agate, rough, uncut and unpolished. It has some windows into what you might find inside if sliced - there is a narrow section of beautiful orange/red agate, as you see in the main photo. That pattern extends into the stone as you can see in the 2nd photo that shows it going around the edge. Still splashes of the coloring on the other side as well. It measures about 3 1/2" x 2 1/2" x 2 3/4" and weighs 1 lb 12 oz, or 794 grams.

Morocco Seam Agate Rough Piece - over 1 lb

This piece of Morocco Seam Agate is long and thin. It is rough and uncut with splashes of colors visible on both sides. It measures 7" x 1/4 to 1 1/5" x 1 1/4" thick, and weighs 1 lb, 2.6 oz, or 525 grams. (And again, sorry, did not get pictures of this one dry, just contact us if you want to see it dry also.)

This rough piece of Morocco Seam Agate is one of the thicker in this small batch and alive with color. It measures about 5" x 3", and 2" thick. Its weight is 2 lbs, 6.5 oz, or 1 kg. (And again, sorry, did not get pictures of this one dry, just contact us if you also want to see photos of it dry.)

This piece of Morocco Seam Agate is not as large as the others, but it still has some several areas of small color patches peeking through. Morocco Seam Agate Rough, By the Pound ($10/lb)

This is rough Seam Agate from Kerouchen, Morocco, by the pound. While we have seen this material on the marked for the last couple of years, the material is new to us. We've cut just a few pieces - a couple have yielded some gorgeous slices, while a couple more have just small splashes of color. Pieces are thin - from about 1/2" to 1 1/2" thick mostly, and range in size on average between about 2" - 5" one direction (though it is possible for some to be a little larger or smaller than that). The pieces in the photos are the exact batch we'll pull from but obviously not all pieces are visible. If ordering more than 3 pounds, please also select the Medium Flat Rate Box at the bottom of this page.
