This page contains some of the Malachite from Africa, the Congo, that we offer for sale. As we get time to list them, we have numerous slabs and rough pieces. We charge one shipping cost for all that will safely fit in a Small Priority Flat Rate box or padded envelope and will ship to the U.S. as well as Internationally. Congo Malachite Rough Pieces by 1/2 Pound

These are irregular slabs, left-over chunks and pieces of Malachite from the Congo, sold by the half pound (1/2 lb). If you want more than one batch, please email us to ensure we have not sold the rest through eBay. The individual we got this material from made custom banister rails, lamp stands, clocks, and other beautiful pieces of furniture. These are pieces sliced off from what he used. Some have a degree of polish on one or both sides, others rough and unpolished. It is also possible there could be epoxy on some. The second and third photos in the slide show are of this batch specifically (your selection will come from this batch, but not necessarily one of the specific pieces shown). The pieces in this batch are mostly over 1" up to about 2" one direction. Some are longer and narrower, a few pieces are very, very thin (just thin sheets like might be useful for intarsia), while others (most) are thicker, some up to 1/2 to 3/4." Patterns vary - some are more plain, some have nice lines, while a few have some really neat patterns. Some pieces have circular cuts to them, possibly where cores were drilled from the full stone, others are mostly flat. Each selection we pull will most likely include some of the circular cut pieces, but it will also have more slab-like pieces as well. Depending on your plans for this material, there could be some waste, but most of it has really nice potential.
