Burro Creek Agate Slab - Pastelite Agate?

This is a slice of agate we collected from Burro Creek. We've sliced quite a bit of Pastelite from there that was more opaque - this almost looks like a translucent Pastelite, though we aren't sure. We have however cut several neat cabs from this same material (like cab #1045) - some nice colors and patterns in it. It is roughly 5" x 2-4" and 8 mm thick. It weighs 190 grams, or 6.7 ounces.

Burro Creek Agate / Pastelite Slab

This is a slice of Burro Creek Agate, really more of a Pastelite. Some different patterns in this rock, with its red veining. It is 6" x 1 to 3 1/2" and 6 mm thick. It weighs 146 grams, or 5.2 ounces. "Burro Creek, AZ area" is written on one side in pencil, it should easily erase or polish off.

Purple Burro Creek Agate Slab

This is a nice slab of purple Burro Creek Agate, almost a gemmy quality to it along the edges. None of the pictures quite do it justice - on the grass seems to be closest. It is roughly 4" x 1 to 2 3/4" and 7 mm thick, weighing 100 grams, or 3.6 ounces.

Burro Creek Pastelite Agate Slab

This is a really neat slab of Burro Creek Agate, with a Pastelite quality in it as well. While we have not personally collected many of the rocks we sell, this is one we did collect, it has some very neat patterns in it. It is 7 1/4" x 2 3/4" at its widest points and 7-8 mm thick, weighing 200 grams, or 7.1 ounces.
